Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
On average please allow 5 working days for your test results to come back from the hospital unless your doctor has advised otherwise. Please note that x-ray results take a little longer, usually 14 days.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- Via eConsult
- In your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
The response may be booking you an appointment, a telephone call, a message with some advice or a referral to someone else (like a physio or a pharmacist).
If you are unable to use the internet for whatever reason, please call the surgery on 0116 235 0435 and the reception team will tell you your results where possible.
